Wag complete sentence
During the presentation parang guide lang yung powerpoint
Ideally may script kayo for each slide kung ano sasabihin nyo

I think na-mention naman na yung iba dito and I'm a bit late, but I'm bored, so why the fvck not.

I taught in college for two years. When I make my students report, I have a set of expectations in place. Pag pinagrereport kayo, your teacher expects you not only to know, but to understand the topic.

Anyway, understanding the topic and actually studying everything about it is where you get your confidence from. The reason students lack confidence when they report is because they're afraid they lack some information the prof might ask. Pero pag feeling mo alam mo lahat, then you can speak confidently.

So paano makikita na naiintindihan mo yung topic? Hindi ka dapat nagbabasa. I mean, it's safe to have cue cards on standby, but to read your whole script for the whole fvcking report is not reporting. THAT'S READING. Mababa makukuha niyo nun.

It is also a must for you to have visual aids. To make them listen, have visual aids on the ready. It's imperative to have a Powerpoint presentation (keep it clean and simple; no animations). Pag walang projector or laptop, magdala kayo ng manila paper, sulatan ninyo. It's not as effective. But it works half the time.

Speaking of Powerpoint, don't use flashy fonts or typefaces. Only use clean, san-serif ones. And don't read the damn slides.

That way, mapipilitang makinig ang mga students at isulat ang sinasabi mo, at the same time, nakakasunod sila sa nababanggit mong terms.

Good luck with future reports (and thesis proposals/defense).

If your group mates are your problem btw, wala kang magagawa doon. It sucks, but sometimes, the group leader and two other people must work harder than that one guy na hindi pumapasok. Just make sure na lahat kayo naiintindihan yung report. Make sure din, na lahat kayo binasa yung buong topic. Hindi yung "Uy friend, ikaw sa theme and symbolism ng Romeo and Juliet ha? Ako sa background and plot". Mali yun! All of you equally must understand the topic. Dahil pag nagkasakit yung isa, or umabsent, sinong magrereport nung binasa niya? Okay this got too long. Hope this actually helps someone lmfao.

nasabi na nila lahat ways and techniques of reporting, enough na yun para mag excel ka.

anyway additional tip. practice your part. face a mirror and pretend you have audience, record it and evaluate yourself.
