Nothing more twisted than a classic 2018 Fifa World Cup Finals feautured by two European's, the France and Croatia. Perhaps the most scintillating one in recent history, in which the France gains it's accolades for just the 2nd time in 3 finals appearances.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup Finals was the 21st edition in which from 32 teams it was trimmed down to just 2, given the chance to recieve the rare World Cup Trophy for just the 12th time in history. The game was played under a huge crowd capacity at the sold out indoor arena, Luzhniki Stadium located at Moscow who has an approximately 78,000 roofed expectators. The game kick-off with Croatian crowd dominating the stadium. The 1st goal came in at 18 mins. where Croatian, Mario Mandzukic scored an owners goal which give the French an early 1-0 lead. It was the 1st owner goal in the FIFA's finals history. After 10 mins. the Croatian countered a goal by Ivan Perisic which gave them a deadlock at 28. The controversial part have yet to come until the VAR system had taken action after calling a handball to the Croatia and rewarding the France a penalty kick nailed by Antoine Griezmann. The 1st half ended wildly with 3 goals at hand. The game restarted with both teams going back and forth for offense and defense. It was not that long until French, Paul Pogba scored another goal for France on the 58min. mark of the game. And 7 mins. after that the youngest player in the team, Kylian Mbappe scored another goal. After the right kick deflection, Mbappe uses his left leg making sure a non ricochet goal that put the French ahead to a comfortable lead 4-1. Amidst of the action in the 2nd half the game was interrupted after the appearance of 4 pitch invaders at the field. The 3 wearing a black trousers and white shirt got on the field while the other one was sidelined after being thwarted by one of the Croatian defenders. The 4 claimed to be a member of Russia's Pusy Punk Band and is detained currently at the Moscow Police Station. There was no anomaly as their motive was clear, the four are protestants (not that they were planning a coup) of Putin's administration. Back at the game, 4 mins. later after a youthful goal of Mbappe, Croatia finally scored it's first goal at the half. Mario Mandzukic, who already scored an owner's goal, scored this time yet another clever goal - a goalkeeping howler after s†éáling the ball from a careless french keeper Hugo Lloris. The goal gave the Croatia their 2nd goal but still trailing by 2. That goal was the final goal scored in the competition. The Croatian was still hopeful until a 5min. game extension was declared by the referees. They have their chances but after the final whistle was blown their crowd have nothing to do but to applaud and gave and appreciation to a classic performance by both teams. The French rejoice along with the rain signalling their victory. The finals featured 6 goals the most since 1966 and as many as the past 4 World Cup Finals.
