Smart, TNT and Sun prepaid loads now valid for 1 year

MANILA - All of the prepaid loads of Smart, TNT and Sun will be valid for 1 year starting July 5, Smart announced Thursday.
"This includes all load denominations of Smart Prepaid, Smart Bro, TNT, Sun Prepaid, Sun Broadband Wireless Prepaid, Smart Link, Smart Marino, PLDT Prepaid Landline Plus and PLDT Home," the company said in a statement.
The move, Smart said, was in compliance with the directive issued jointly by the National Telecommunications Commission, Department of Information and Communications Technology, and Department of Trade and Industry.
Smart's rival, Globe, also announced that all of its prepaid loads will be valid for 1 year starting today.
Globe: All prepaid load will have 1-year validity
Previously, only loads P300 and above were valid for 1 year.
