Check mo kung gumagana ng maayos yung Buttons. At yung saksakan ng bala, Baka maluwang. Check mo din saksakaan ng charger at earphone. Pati battery baka mabilis ma lowbat at baka biglang namamatay kahit 'di pa low-batt.

Check mo rin sir yung hinge, baka laspag o may cr@ck na. Yung L and R shoulder buttons make sure na gumagana, dun madalas mabiktima yung ibang buyer dahil di nachecheck sa meetup. Based lang sa alam ko sa 3DS, so i gonna try to share it.

11 Things para macheck mo ng 3DS if fully functional at magagamit mo dito.

• Region Locking.

3DS kasi meron "region-lock" sa every 3DS, meaning ang laro sa ibang bansa like Japanese Game and ilalagay mo sa European na 3DS. It's not gonna work. So before buying 3ds, make sure na alam mo kung saan siya nakaregion locked.

So if you want to check it.

Go to sa System Settings - then makikita mo yung system version mo sa taas. Then watch out sa huli ng system version mo. Meron letter kasi yan na nagrefer kung siya nakaregion based.

So follow this.

U - US/Asia/MiddleEast
E - European/Australian
J - Japanese

Then once buying a game, look on these labels.



Everyone Rating - US/Asia/MiddleEast

PEGI Rating - European

ACB Rating - Australia

CERO Rating - Japan

Then once buying a cartridge meron mga USA - JPN - EUR Label sa mga bala. Makikita mo siya around sa baba ng cartridge na parang serial number na.

XXX-XXX-XXXX-(Region Code).

So look up.

USA - USA
MDE - Middle East pero compatible naman US/Asian Variant.
AUS/EUR - Australian Variant pero compatible din sa European.
JPN - Japanese.

• Screen

Make sure to look out any dead pixels sa first and secondary ng screen.

Here are some tips para macheck.

Dead pixel- alam mo na siguro ito, so move on.

Screen burn - yung parang basang screen around the first screen or faded/warned out.

Stuck pixels- mga damaged pixels na naging cause sa bukas/sara ng console.

Also, if gonna buy 3ds make sure ng touch panel it's very warned off. Katulad sa touch pad, masadyong ginagamit kaya habang tumatagal. Lalong narereduce ng texture ng screen.

Also check if meron flickering issue, by adjusting low and high brightness. Some model may be encounter some issue if nakaon ng Power Saving Mode or Auto - Brightness sa mga bagong modelo. So try to disable it and check if the lcd ay nagfliflicked.

Then sa secondary screen, improper sa paglalagay ng screen protector sa pangalawang screen, may cause some scrolling issues. So better check it with stylus.

• Screen Types

Meron 2 klase ng screen ng 3DS, meron TN at meron IPS.

So ano ba ng pagkakaiba? Welp.

T/N (Twisted Nematic) - parang mga Cherry Mobile ng mga screen ng ganyan. It's cheap, low quality, and faster makaroon ng dead pixels.

IPS (In-Plane Switching) - best screen, katulad ng mga LG, Sony, and other devices nagumagamit ng IPS. High quality.

So what are difference between the two?

Now if you notice on the old version ng 3DS na gumagamit ng TN Screens, meron mga motion blur na nangyayari, reducing response time, and once naka stay long for inactivity. Merong bakat sa screen if you notice on some tn panels. If 3D na nakaturned on, washed out ng kulay or inverted kapag nakaview sa wide angle.

But IPS does not have that problem, it's vivid, generates more color and no screen burn in. But it generates more power sa battery life when 3D was turned on.

So in the difference, if you look closely. Compared on the two screen types washed out ng kulay TN screen kapag naka-angled pababa. But IPS does not.

• Parental Controls (PIN)

It's look like iCloud/Restriction Service ng Apple. Mahirap makalimutan ng ganyan situation kapag hindi mo alam ng Parental Control (PIN) ng seller.

So if, meron nagbenta sa iyo nang-ganyang issue. Don't buy it.

Otherwise, if nakaroon na nang-ganitong issue. Meron mga naggagawa sa greenhills, but it will cost you more than a dime. So look out!

• Nintendo Network ID or (NNID)

Kabalitaran ng Parental Control, you can delete previous account. But, all purchased apps sa isang account ay mabubura.

• Modification

When this problem, na wala kang alam dito sa problem kung anong problem sa modification.

When the term modification, mga illëgal downloaded na apps na nanggaling lang kay Mr. Googles or around the web and trying to install them.

So if the console was already modified, check mo ng palatandaan kapag modified na ng system.

Did you remember, yung Firmware Version? Now, if notice something wrong sa hulihan ng firmware version na hindi nagmatched sa region locking firmwares like (SYS or EMU) ng hulihan, it means it's already modified.

So once, modified ng 3DS at nakalogged in ng NNID mo, makakaroon ng banned instant. Dahil nadetect ng Nintendo na gumagamit ka ng custom firmware.

So if you want to use cfw instead, not a problem. Just DON'T logged in sa NNID or buy games sa Nintendo e-shop.

Simple as that.

• Speaker

Alam siguro ng karamihan, especially kapag sira ng speaker like (SaBOg, crunchy ng tunog, just blank/No Sounds.)

• Microphone

Para macheck ng microphone, do this.

Punta ka sa System Settings sa Home menu.
Then click on Other Settings.
Meron arrow sa right top corner, it will navigate sa page 2.
Click on Mic Test.
Then speak!
Then makakaroon ng playback if it's working or not.
So check it!

• Camera

Just take a photo, or scan your AR Card. If meron ka.

• Buttons

Check properly sa buttons if hard pressed, delayed or not working. Malalaman naman if working kung maganda ng response time ng button along with the system.

• C-Stick/Circle Pad

Pwede mo calibrate if ganno mo gusto mong response sa C-Stick as well sa Circle pad.

Follow this.

Go to Home and click System Settings.
Tap Other Settings.

NOTE:

• Para new 3DS - tap 4 button then tap circle pad.
• Then sa old 3DS - tap 3 button then tap circle pad.

Tap Ok , then make two to three rotations along sa circle pad.
Tap next, then move your circle pad sa mga 4 directions na makikita mo sa screen. Check out if green sa mga trianglés, it means it's done. Tap OK.

• Factory Reset

Once everything is checked up, and ready to go. You must format it to look like new.

And that's it!
