Closed Ssh that works with whatsapp calling

OK guys I'm having problems with whatsapp calls and video calls not working unless I'm using open VPN, the thing is other people i give free ehi files in which their phones not rooted to use open VPN, so is there any way to get whatsapp call working without the use of open VPN or any ssh site that supports whatsapp calling
