--In response to TypeSend's Topic regarding the ICC, I would like to clarify a few things to light up this topic for those who might have little to no knowledge about it.

*Let it be clear that I'm on the side of Progress for our nation and not on any Politician.

I think his knowledge on ICC is limited. He didn't provide any premise as to why our country would get worse if we get out of such organization.

To summarize, Here are a few facts about the ICC.

*It officially began functioning in 2001 but plans for its foundation started many years after the First world war. It is seated in Hague Netherlands.

*The ICC is intended to complement existing national judicial systems and it may therefore only exercise its jurisdiction when certain conditions are met, such as when national courts are unwilling or unable to prosecute criminals or when the You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. *Russia, China, India and the UNITED STATES are not members of the Statute. US and RUSSIA withdrew the ratification just a few days after signing.

* The biggest Financers of the ICC are the EU(European Union), Japan, and Australia.

*Most of the people convicted by the ICC are from small countries in Africa.

*The UK which is a member of the ICC is under Investigation for many years by the ICC for War Crimes and Crimes of aggression in the Middle East but even today, It seems there has been no Progress.

*I would also like to add that the number of people kill in America that is related to drugs reached an staggering 47,000 plus last year and THE WORLD DOESN'T EVEN KNOW OR SEEM TO CARE.

*The US committed many War crimes and Crimes of Aggression in Iraq and many Middle East countries. One such example is the footage of the Baghdad strike that was released by WikiLeaks. And the ICC didn't even lift a finger or say a word about it.

To conclude, I don't think it would have a significant impact on our country if we were to wí†hdráw. In fact, it would even benefit us. The Philippines contribute a considerable amount of money for the ICC as a member. Moreover, we already have a prevailing justice system and even superpowers aren't part of it. Poor African countries are mainly the one that usually get prosecuted by the Rome Statute.

ang pag kaka alam ko aprobado na at nag padala na ng letter of intent to wí†hdráw from ICC si Salvador Panelo. Pero sabi nga nila ang wí†hdráwal takes effect 1 year counted from the receipt the ICC received the same.
