About me:

• turn off device, press Vol+, Home Button, at Power Button ng sabay sabay
- Custom Kernel: modified kernel for better performance.
- Bloatwares: Ito yung mga walang kwentang app na naka install sayo (system or user apps)
- Malwares: Apps na gumagawa ng kalokohan
- Bootloop: may topak na android mo, paulit ulit sa boot animation (startup logo)
- Soft/Hard brick: sira ang android mo! kailangan nang ipagamot, walang response or blackout
- SD card partition: pwedwng gamitin sa pag expand ng internal memory at virtual ram

ADVANTAGES
Marami kang bagay na gusto mong gawin sa CP mo pero hindi pwede kasi ipinag babawal ng manufacturer just like h@cking an app, theming your android, powerful operations, uninstall ng system apps, boost android performance... pag may Root Access ka na you can do all that stuffs... pero hindi lang jan ang Root Access... mauubos ang oras mo kaka basa kung iisa isahin natin ang kaya mong gawin with that kaya proceed na tayo

DISADVANTAGES

Pwede bang I UN-ROOT?
Syempre naman... provided yan ng root management apps like super su

Best Rooting Method
Wala pong best rooting method dahil wala namang universal way sa pagro root...
Ibat iba ang rooting method dipende sa modwl ng phone mo... may versions na kailangan ng PC, may versions na kailangan on the air, meron ding tru custom recovery, or flash via terminal emulator

## NOTES bago kayo mag umpisa sa ROOTING ##

1. !!! DO A RESEARCH !!!
RESEARCH... RESEARCH... RESEARCH...

I said... walang universal way...

2. Plan ahead

3. BackUp

Bago ka mag umpisa... I backup mo muna ang pwede mong ibackup like contacts, files, progress and so on.

4. Make sure na fully charged or atleast 80% ang chrge ng battery mo

5. Save all your backup and files in flash drive or external memory

6. ROOTING WILL VOID WARRANTY

7. Stup!dity will ruin the whole process kaya dapat alamin mo muna bago mo gawin

## SUCCESS!!! Ano nang gagawin? ##

1) MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP
like I said sa itaas... mahalaga yan... mahalagang mahalaga kasi paglalaruan mo na ang kaloob looban ng cp mo so dapat lang na mag backup ka
May ibat ibang way sa pag back up pero ang pinaka basic is tru custom recovery

3. Ugaliin ang Research before you Apply

4. Remove Bloatwares

5. Install powerful and useful apps
MIXplorer
- fullypacked file explorer na mas maganda at mas magaan sa halos lahat ng file explorer... must try
Link2SD
- madaling mag manage ng apps gamit yan
Lucky Patcher
Titanium BackUp
- very handy at fulky featured app para sa pag mamanage ng apps sa android mo (for intermediate users)

ROOTING your android gives you great power
And Great power comes with GREAT RESPONSIBILITY

Happy Rooting :)

Maraming methods ng pag root ng Android phone but I suggest using Magisk, "systemless" root po yan kasi ngayon strict na ang Google dapat papasa ka safetynet para maka bili ng apps, subscriptions and in-app-purchases para sa Gems ng laro nyo etc. useful ang root no need to explain nakasulat na sa thread pero kung willing ka talagang e sacrifice ang safetynet it means di kana makaka bili sa Playstore at may games din na nakaka detect ng root, so ayun na imbento ang Systemless root na "Magisk" rooted ka na, pasa ka pa sa safetynet makakapag purchase ka din :)

Magandang tutorial and great advice para sa mga newbie boss salamat sa share :)

Clarify ko lang ang mga to:

ROM (read-only memory)
In other words, ito po ay isang chip where your data is stored, it is not the data itself.
The memory is read-only because of the configuration (write permission is disabled) of the OS and file system mostly for security reasons but this can be edited through rooting.
(This is why rooting is bad because it can mess up your system files and file permissions if you don't know what you're doing!!)

Kernel (device-specific driver kung sa android)
A piece of software that links the hardware and a particular os. Kumbaga driver siya kung sa pc

Soft brick and hard brick

Ito naman magkaiba.
Yung "soft" brick is yung software lang ang nasira, pwede mo lang e nandroid restore or flash another tested working rom, problem solved.
Yung "hard" brick naman, nasira ang phone mo in the hardware level (e.g motherboard short circuit) and, of course, needs physical servicing.

Custom ROM (sometimes called firmware or more specifically the OS)
  • Di ko alam why it is named ROM when it is the OS.. maybe because the majority liked calling it like that and the community just went with the flow or;
  • It was meant to be ROM firmware, kase nasa read-only memory yung firmware hindi as RAM, but "Custom ROM firmware" was too long so the majority discarded it when mentioning and the community followed after.
I don't know for sure.. but
May two types ng custom rom:
  • Official Custom ROM - ito ay maintained usually by a group who developed the ROM in general (e.g CyanogenMod developers)
  • Unofficial Custom ROM - ito ay maintained only by whoever decided to port the ROM to another usually unsupported device.
For those wanting to root, take note that just one missing important system file or wrong permission can cause bootloop.. say goodbye to your dog pictures there if that happens. So take some time to research! Always have a backup plan if ever anything happens. It always pays to be careful. Happy rooting! :)
