If your mobile carrier supports Facebook texts, you can set up Facebook Texts from your settings:

1. Click Settings & Privacy at the bottom of any page
2. Click Text Messaging
3. Enter your phone number, then click Add Number
4. Enter your Confirmation Code, then clickConfirm
5. Text START TO 2321 to start recieving texts (standard rates may apply)

Note: Facebook doesn't charge you for using Facebook texts. However, your mobile provider's standard rates for sending and receiving text messages (SMS) still apply.
