Prolink prs1241b adsl2+ wireless modem/router

guys nasubukan ninyo na ba mag open ng ports or port forward sa pldt home dsl router?, medyo bago kasing model ito ay tingin ko kahit ilang subok sa pag port forward gamit yung virtual server provided nila eh parang di natalab or baka lock ang ang feats non kahit may option? baka may kulang lang ako dapat gawin or sadyang firmware na nila ang nagrerestrict?

yung ibang option like qos/ traffic sharper lang ang function

same here. nag lologin ako sa adminpldt ayaw pumasok ng creds. though yun naman yung default password and user id. which is "adminpldt" and "1234567890"
nakakapasok ako sa user interface using the default user id and password which is "admin" and "1234567890" (nabago ko na kasi from 1234) pero ang masama wala/kulang yung settings. wala yung QOS etc...

sakin ganito ginawa ko to access my admin (root) option. First reset your adsl by pressing the reset button (around 10 secs) tapos pag reset I use my TABLET (mobile) to access the wifi. Using the default SSID and WIFI password na nasa likod mismo ng modem nakapag wifi ako. then Pag punta ko ng 192.168.1.1 nag prompt sakin ang (First time login) new password / confirm password. So ang nilagay ko is 1234567890A kasi bawal daw ang old password. tapos naka pasok na ako sa root access (admin options). Then pumunta ako ng Maintenance -> Password -> select adminpldt -> type old password (1234567890A) then new password (kahit ano gusto nyo) sakin inalis ko lang yung A sa dulo hehehe. Then click modify. Nasa inyo na rin kung may mga gusto pa kayong baguhin sa settings ng wifi nyo or what.

ginawa kona din yan pero hindi yan gumana sakin. yun modem ko ay PROLiNK PRS1241B version 1241B Plt 4WNE2 6.8R sa ngayon bypass palang ang nagagawa ko. ang ginawa ko lang ay nag log-in ako gamit ng admin/1234 (user account) tapos meron akong ginawang index.htm, pag open ng index.htm na ginawa ko maoopen na yun mga nakahide na option. na test ko palang ay Backup/Restore Settings at User Account Configuration, meron mga link na hindi gumagana sakin baka sa ibang modem gumana lahat.

sakin hindi gumana yung pag change ng adminpldt password nakapag create nadin ako ng bagong administrator account pero hindi parin sya gumana. hindi alam ng taga pldt kung ang modem ko ay sadyang hindi pwede mabuksan yun administrator account or meron lang silang nagawang bug sa pag modified sa firmware. sa diagnostic ko lumalabas ay ang login page ay naka setup ng test mode. kya gumawa nalang ako ng baypass para maopen ko ang hidden menu. pwede mo itry yun ginawa ko download mo lang yun pldt modem.zip don sa isang comment ko tpos login ka gamit ng user account tapos non extract mo yun pldt modem.zip tapos open mo un index.htm dadalin ka yan sa administrator page.

SAME din ako kaasar kanina lang 12 noon pinalitan modem ko hnd ko alam ganyan pala ayaw ng adminpldt kaya tumawag ako sa 171 at snbhi ko madami pla nag rereklamo taz bkit eto binigay ng technician ng PLDT

Mga master, newbie lang po sa prs1241b, paano po settings gagawin para maging wifi repeater/extension sya? I have 2 extra prs1241b routers pa kasi

dynamic ang public ip kaya mahirap mag portforward tapos para limited na ang firmware ng router eh
