I realised that making your relationship ‘Facebook official’ would do more harm than good. People that actually matter already know about whatever is going on in your life. When we share our personal life with people we instantly become the topic of gossip. This means they will think that they now have the power to evaluate our life!

Okay, many of us have creepy exes, even if we block them they try to invade our privacy by making fake accounts. They keep an eye on us no matter how hard we try to ward them off. Nothing seems to work. When you make your relationship ‘Facebook official’, you give them exactly the kind of information they are looking for. Many of them might even try to use this information against you!
Unwanted people get involved in your life
Unwanted people get involved in your life. They will start keeping an eye on whatever you do. They will try to become a part of your life even if you don’t want them to be a part of it. A congratulations might seem really nice, but it doesn’t feel good at all when someone drops an inbox to discuss your relation in detail.
