Closed SOLVED!!! Error on: Could not open connection to the host, on port 23; connection failed (FWD)

Problem :

• cant access GUI via 192.168.1.1
• cant access TELNET via "telnet 192.168.1.1"

= ITS A FIRWARE DESTROYED issue. too bad...


Steps i've done :

• resetting the MODEM BM622 (pressing reset button)
• uncheck / recheck the "telnet" in windows setting (reboot)
• "apr -a" shows the IP in default 192.168.1.1 still cant access GUI/TELNET
• connect using router (reset) also done
• connect directly to the model also done.
• i formatted my PC to see if it can resolve the issue, but still no avail.

Note: this issue occured last saturday, but my modem can still connect to the internet i just cant access GUI from browser (firefox,IE,Chrome) page cannot be displayed, error on page. even CLI cant do anything.

to anyone who encounter this, may you help me or advise on how to deal with it, i dont know is my modem has been remoted by lowlife attackers, i dont know, im not sure... but any idea could help to try..

use other browser, naka uncheck na ang telnet nyan, tapos open ang SSH kaya hindi, use mo muna to sa telnet. 192.168.1.2 tapos kapag kumonek dyan ok pa yan sir. gamit ka lang google chrome. or ibang browser

mag try ka ng mag change mac using restore def. pra balik sa factory settings

travianers - bro i cant access it using any browser, i also used IPscanner to see if could catch anything, but i just saw 2 ip's which..

• 192.168.1.2 my computer
• 192.168.1.1 my bm622

as of now i have no idea why i cant access it, i wont do re-flashing at the moment, the weird thing is even my linksys router i cant view the GUI, from what setup i did last week, i just disabled the DHCP function of my router, and change the ip to 192.168.2.1, and it works ok before. i also reset the button to check if could give me a good result, but still i cant access the GUI (linksys)

im thinking trying it to other desktop or laptop.

as of now, on-going reflash ako ng FW IC nya, kasi ang WAN IC ko ok naman at may internet, so since na pasukan siguro ng script, might as well erase the FW and flash a new program. update ko ito kapa nag ok

sa sinabi mong naka check ang telnet mo means nakaka pasok ka sa gui niya kung ganun download mo yung config niya nandun sa maintenance niya tapos send mo sakin tingnan ko ang telnet doon pass niya.

@ GravityZer05 - sir hinde maka pasok ng GUI eh, even telnet sa CMD. as in hinde talaga ma view page ng GUI. kaya diko mabibigay yun config nya.

ito po ang way nlng ahm punta ka sa control panel>network and internet> network &sharing>Change adapter settings>Right click mo yung adapter ng wimax mo then click properties> hanapin mo yung Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP.IPv4) click the properties> check mo yung Use the following IP address>

ito ang ilagay mo
Ip address: 192.168.1.2
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

then OK then try mo mag log in sa gui try and try lng or reload.

edit: SOLVED na!!!

reprogram the FW IC using copy machine. tried it too many times, i think 12x .. remove IC, program, mount, paulit ulit hahaha ayus!!!

Nice na remote ka nga... sasusunod boss i uncheck mo lang ang ACL mo kung pwede LAHAT yun except sa Telnet sa LAN.. pra kung mag change mac ka wala kang ma encounter na error

@ GravityZer05 - oo sir .. napa-sukan ng script yun modem ko worst is pati yung wireless router ko na damay sa kagaguhan ng remoter na yun, tagal ko ng gamit yung router ko since 2008 eh dahil lang sa mga häçker na gusto manira ng devices ng kapwa nila...nako naman!!! nakaka-buwisit yung gawain na ganun. Linksys WRTG52 ko di na mapasok ang GUI, even reset ayaw na din eh.. badtrip!!!

kung naka router ka boss means may pumasok sa wifi router mo boss tas pinasok si 192.168.1.1 mayroon kang naibigay sa kaibigan ng password tapos inacces niya ang modem mo... hahay buti pa ang aswang hindi niya ginagalaw ang kapitbahay...... try mo boss gamitin si wimac defender kahit naka wifi ka boss at nalaman ng remoter ang password ng wifi mo HINDING HINDI na niya mapasok ang gui ng wimax mo boss nasubukan ko na yan.... yung sakin naka wifi na.. sa public

GravityZer05 - bro, i think wireless router ko sya pumasok at nag upload ng script, too bad my wireless router has no function right now, it also need flashing FW IC, but i have time to that..syang yung router ko... kainis...!!!
