Basically, a person who knows how to breathe well and have trained their body where to place their voice correctly will always be a good singer..then the rest of the techniques will follow. Thank you XELOS.

I really had to laugh as in "hagalpak" ng mabasa ko inquiry mo, you see anybody can be a singer. If you can speak then most definitely you can sing. And yes practising inside the bathroom is good because it is considered a cell, sounds resonates faster, and that includes your singing voice.

First, make a healthy space where you can practise your singing everyday, yes you read it.."everyday". I adviced healthy,meaning, well ventilated. While singing, make sure you get enough air, control it and then release the voice. Expression comes after the Science, I wish I could explain it further but I hope you and our fellow PHC people had some ideas to continue and enjoy singing.

Thank you demonic098 for the good response. I would like to tell you that you are supposed to be free from voice profiling or the unjust categorizing of the vocal range. Get out of the classical approach and just be aware when it is ok or not ok to sing when you are about to belt notes above your comfortable range. And now we tackle your inquiry...You know you have the sensation on your throat when you want to make your voice sound higher but not fake-pitchy, go face the mirror and see your throat when you sing high notes, the opening or the hole decreases in size right? It's ok, you are doing great. The trick is, don't let the air or voice come out of the nose strills. Tell your brain to control the air, let it all out of the only legitimate hole when singing..."the mouth". So remember sing it, let the voice box make that tiny hole to make the sound higher but please never ever produce a sound from the nose strills...and now the falcetto is no longer a problem.

The calling, guns n roses, alice cooper, and bon jovi. Did i heard them right or not did they use their nose strills to produce sound or not?

Your ears are working and you are right.They did make lots of falcetto there, it is also ok, in our world we call it dynamics. Falcetto only sounds good when done with good placement. This is why I want you to learn removing it first and then notice the difference. Get back to me and tell me what happened... then we'll continue. Freedom is the key.
