Reset Data Usage on an Android Phone

Discussion in 'Free Internet Tricks' started by jheayahr, Sep 11, 2015.

  1. This is a tutorial for those who wanted to reset their data counter.

    Requirements:
    ROOTED ANDROID PHONE
    FILE EXPLORER (ES FILE, etc...)

    briefing:
delete all the files stored in /data/system/netstats folder as it holds all usage records

    steps:
~ download and install Please or Register to view links.

~ open es explorer. go to settings<tools and turn on root explorer

~ browse to /data/system/netstats folder. there you see all record files.

(note: if you haven't turn on root explorer, you will see /data folder empty but actually its not)

~ delete all the files on it and then restart your phone. now you will see your data counter is resetted.

Hindi na man ma reset ang data mo kasi naka log na yan sa Server ng ISP mo. Sa usage lang ng phone mo ma clear yan, hindi sa provider.
