check mo kung may mysql na nakainstall sa xampp mo or kung yung service eh nakastart sa tray icons,

ganun ba help me debug

mysqli - mysqli i-means improved. PHP 5.x has less support in mysql. Instead their development is focused on mysqli and pdo. Yan ang pagkakaalam ko.
