Ginger should be consumed with care, especially if you combine it with anticoagulants, beta-blockers, and drugs based on insulin.

Ginger’s powers are truly amazing. It treats many diseases such as: reliving symptoms of arthritis (to reduce pain in muscle and bone problems), strengthens the immune system, helps with nausea, hemorrhoids, cramps, migraine (headache), cough, diarrhea (it generally helps with digestion problems), burping, constipation, slow circulation (improves circulation and prevents the formation of blood clots), heart problems, menstrual cramps, lowers blood sugar, cholesterol, prevents the growth of cancer cells, it gets rid the toxins from the body, etc…

It is often called a universal medicine because of its preventive effect on many health problems, and even the more serious ones. Due to its antiseptic properties, it is used for medical purposes for many years, but you should have in mind that ginger is not recommended for every health problems and not in every person. Here’s who should avoid it:

There are powerful stimulants in ginger that can lead to early pregnancy pains. Especially in the last weeks of pregnancy, women should avoid ginger, and not use it at all.

This is the best food for those who want to lose weight, and of course is not good for those who want to gain it. In fact, ginger keeps you feel full and help in dissolving fat. If you want to gain some weight, ginger can’t help you, so you better avoid it.

Ginger stimulates circulation, what is generally good, but not for those that suffer from blood disorders such as hemophilia.

If you take medications to regulate blood pressure or diabetes, you mustn’t consume this bulbous plant at all, because it can affect on the effect of the medications in your body. It Is especially risky if you combine ginger with anticoagulants, beta-blockers and medications based on insulin.
