Lantern was built to give users fast access to the blocked Internet. Lantern automatically detects whether or not a site is blocked and then accesses the blocked site either through our own servers or through Lantern users running as access points in the Ùn*énsøréd world. If a site is unblocked, Lantern gets out of the way, and your browser accesses it directly to give you the fastest possible access.

Lantern is unique in that it uses a variety of techniques to stay unblocked around the world, falling back to other approaches if some of those techniques become blocked. Those techniques include centralized and sophisticated peer-to-peer architectures. Usability and user feedback are also integral parts of Lantern, with new releases incorporating suggestions and addressing concerns.

Lantern encrypts all of your traffic when you are accessing a blocked site, but Lantern does not change traffic to unblocked sites in any way. This means a network observer, such as a censoring government or an ISP, cannot read your traffic to blocked sites. Lantern users acting as access points can see the website you’re accessing and where you’re accessing it from, but the actual content you are reading from or posting to that site is not visible to them because it is encrypted over HTTPS. Lantern only sends HTTPS traffic to Lantern users acting as access points.

Lantern allows you to provide the Lantern team with useful information and analytics that will help us improve the Lantern program. You can change this option in your Lantern settings. If you choose to send Lantern this data we will only use it for improving the Lantern service so that we can continue to offer better service for you and others.

Lantern is not an anonymity tool. Lantern was built for fast and open Internet access. If you feel you need to be anonymous online (if you are posting something you think could bring legal action against you, for example) we recommend using Tor. Otherwise, Lantern will give you faster access to blocked sites.

Once you download and install Lantern, the Lantern icon will appear in the system tray on the lower right of your screen on Windows and in the menu bar at the top of your screen on OSX. As long as the icon is is there, it means Lantern is running and that you can access blocked sites in any browser automatically. If you ever wish to stop Lantern, you can do so in the menu that appears when you click on the Lantern icon in the system tray or menu bar.

:D ...Sa free net siguro mahirap nga yan. Pero paganahin sa buhay (legit) na connection ay pwede naman - proxify (ex. vpn+l@ntern....) and then use it as a censorship tool. Tulad ngayon - see pic.

Kita nyo "PH" yung country of origin. Back-up si usurf 15.03 at baka mawala si l@ntern he he.
upload_2015-10-29_2-27-52.png

Free Internet Tricks Forum Terms

1) Tunneling software - Example nito ay Proxifier.
  • Proxifier - Website: You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.

Proxifier - ginagamit ito sa network applications (Ex. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Skype, Yahoo Messenger, Torrent Client, Online Games) na hindi support ng proxy server na ginagamit mo (Ex. UltraSurf: 127.0.0.1:9666)
2) VPN - Virtual Private Network. A virtual private network (VPN) extends a private network across a public network, such as the Internet. It enables users to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network, and thus are benefiting from the functionality, security and management policies of the private network. A VPN is created by establishing a virtual point-to-point connection through the use of dedicated connections, virtual tunneling protocols, or traffic encryption.
3) Proxies

Pag nag-update, revert to old at di na lalabas yung console mode. Edit mo ulit kay CFF Explorer (You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.). Kung ayaw nyo naman, get the original l@ntern from main site.
