Closed Create myglobe connect apn settings on your phone (manually)

In some cases Globe does not automatically push this particular APN to your device once you activate your prepaid or postpaid SIM. Users who are trying to tweak their APN and want to use myGlobe Connect, they need do it via manual configuration on their phone settings for them to use this access point name. In this guide I will help you setup it on your Android and iOS phone manually.

MyGlobe Connect Manual APN Setup

Android manual setup:
1. Go to Settings > Wireless & Networks > More > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > (Menu) > New APN then input provided data below.

For new Android device: Settings > More networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > click + icon to add new APN

Note :
Make up a new name or this :
myglobe connect

If that is not available too, type in :

Then inside it, input these...
Proxy Server:203.177.42.214
Port : 8080

2. Tap Menu icon then Save
3. Go back to Access point names, select or tick new myGlobe Connect APN.
4. Click back button to exit

iPhone/iPad or iOS manual setup:
Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network

For New iOS device: Setting > Mobile > Mobile data Network

midvest I am not here to share and update you with proxy servers. This thread is just a tutorial on the manual input for MGC locally on an android unit. If you need free internet, there are categories for that.
