Food and Recipe Creamy pork adobo

    Cook time: 40 mins Total time: 40 mins
    Serves: 4


    -500 g pork liempo, cut into cubes
    -12 cloves garlic, smashed
    -1T whole ground black pepper
    -1 cup water
    -⅔ cup oyster sauce
    -3T vinegar
    -1 small can of evaporated milk


    1.Heat cooking oil in a pan and saute garlic and black pepper.
    2.When fragrant, add in pork and saute until all sides are browned.
    3.Add in oyster sauce and make sure every piece of the meat is well coated.
    4.Stir and add in water in vinegar.
    5.Leave to simmer for 30 mins or until pork is fork tender.
    6.Bring to a boil until sauce is thickened.
    7.Then lower the hear and add in evap.
    8.Make sure not to let it reach a boil so your milk won't curdle.
    9..Serve with hard boiled eggs and a bowl of garlic rice.
