Closed Cherry mobile touch xl 2 stock camera issue.

I also have the same problem with my touch xl 2, the camera is REALLY dark when using 3rd party apps such as pokemon go and other ar apps, the pre-installed camera is fine and works perfectly, but why won't it work properly on other apps? Is there anyways to fix this? Like a 3rd party app that fixes this issue? Or something you turn on/off in the settings?

I could not figure it out. I think the cam is fine. Just the cam software. Developer did terrible job. Just need to flash custom rom.

You need root to be able to flash a custom Ron right?

Yes I have rooted this device. One click root all does not work. You have to install android SDK and JDK on your PC. Google for them. You have to know little bit about adb and fast boot commands. Just google for systemless root.

Google for the instruction. Here is SuperSu v2.76 and the link to the custom recovery. Do not use sp flash tool. it will break your device. Just use systemless root method. I might be late but its rootable and the one click root does not work(kingroot, kingoroot etc.) and the only way is to flash TWRP iso using SDK on pc..
