Can anyone tell me how to start a college in the philippines?

Discussion in 'Academic & Campus Talk' started by mrmarcus, Oct 14, 2016.

  1. I'd love to start a college/university in the Philippines.

I want to know what kind of permits are required as well as how much capital is involved.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have posted my question in this sub-forum because it is education-related. If it isn't related enough, please feel free to move to the right sub-forum. Thank you in advance!

capital is based on what school you preffered to enroll, if its a public university then it will not cost you more unlike the private universities here in PH. In public you will enjoy the different scholarships program. Which enable you to pay less in the tuition fees.

I think you are asking the wrong forum, you should be contacting the Department of Education.
  4. Thank you for helping me out with your reply. Much appreciated. Mind if I ask you for the link? Does the DOE in the Philippines cover COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES or is there another agency for that?

    Thanks in advance

I'm trying to figure out how much it costs to start.

I'd like to start a Liberal Arts college.

Interesting thing about the CHED site.... the CONTACT US page has no emails ... only phone numbers. Oh well, phone calls it is.
  9. Any additional information?
