I'm glad you finally fixed your device. And I see you forgot to change your IMEI and MAC addresses to their original state. Hahaha

Hi Kronfour
My modem is locked to cameroon vodafone device L02C model.
Please, how can i backup my current firmware to burn it again or how can i bypass WTPTP error?
Thank in advance for your help ( please don't send me back to page 5 because i did not see solution there )

I have an unlocked onei think, i'll finde it after and upload !
Please upload the L02C firmware you used to flash your device ( i mean the cameroon vodafone firmware )
Done flashing my m028t after battling with the WTPTP FBF ERROR..
Thanks to Kronfour for directing me to page 5 and xof for the procedures, enjoying now
So..
I tried it and I'm glad I did. To anyone else who tried flashing the dreaded Uganda Vodafone firmware, reflash the same firmware and make sure to tick the'Erase All Flash' option and keep your eyes fixed on the progress bar. When it say 100% during the 'erasing' phase, unplug the device and don't wait for it to finish.
I've managed to get rid of the Uganda Vodafone firmware this way. I have flashed a certain Smart Bro firmware (FX_PR2L_FNL_VER) and it's working just fine except for the part where I can't get it to detect any network.
Anywho.. it's a work in progress.
Maybe I need to mix and match different RFBN/RBLI/OSLO.
Hi XOF
How can i reflash my same current firmware?
How can i extract the firmware from device?
Thank in advance

Hahaha :)
I know page 5 has nothing to do with your problem so I won't bro. Just unfortunate I have no idea how to back up the firmware files.
I'm so sorry I couldn't help.

I don't know if that's possible. I'm yet to find a tool that does that sort of thing. The best I can think of right now is via SWDownloader>Upload>Upload Area(s) Configuration.
You have to know the addresses though.
Maybe this will help.. it may seem cumbersome. FYI, I haven't attempted this.

By following the steps on page 5 bro which might not help you.:)
Instead head over to this thread https://phcorner.net/t/smart-bro-evoluzn-fx-pr2l-unlocking-reviving-update-12-01-16.216720/ and I think your solution will be on the page 32 by jonasdedzo.:)

I came across a nice little tool that's able to interact with devices at the lower I/O level where device drivers communicate with target hardware. This I bet is what we need in order to get rid of the dreaded 'WTPTP FBF Error'.
In order to pull this one off, I need volunteers. Someone with a M028T device that can be wiped clean using the procedure I mentioned somewhere in this thread.. A "burn interrptus" if we may call it that. Because I need the exact signals sent to the modem during an "Erase All Flash" procedure, which one can be able to read from the BusHound software that I will attach herein.

Here's a screenshot of Bus Hound "Devices" tab. We only want to capture what takes place with the selected device during an "Erase All Flash" operation.

Here's a screenshot of the "Capture" tab showing the commands sent to the device.

bus_commander.jpg

Here's a screenshot of a command I sent to the device sucessfully.

For anyone that's interested, attached herein find a zip of the BusHound installer together with a sample text file (BusHound supports exporting to text files, which is what I need of a successful wipe operation so as to replicate it on my device)
