Hi to all,

Good day!

This is in connection with xenforo updates like every 3months or 5 months they are releasing their latest version like from 1.1.2, 1.1.3, 1.1.4, 1.1.15, up to dates. I have a simple question with this rapid updates on the developer's side;

1. What are the benefits of these updates?
2. Are these updates significant?
3. Why do we need to update our forum versions instead of using the current setup?

Hoping for some great answers to those who had experienced upgrading their forum versions please comment.

Thank you.

It's kinda fast reply to the thread and it seems that you're online 24/7 in this site admin draft.:D
With regards to this thread Q&A, i forgot the number 4 question;

4. Installing an upgrade to your current forum version might delete your current MODIFICATIONS and back to default is it?

Thanks again draft.;)

No :)
Upgrade doesn't delete any modifications, if the current modification needs an update then a notification on admin home will display.
You have 3 options:
  • Revert to Original
  • Merge your modification with the current update
  • Or just ignore it

Does xenforo nùlléd versions are included on the updated versions or the only valid users of their site are capable of this updates?:)

To be honest i don't owned a licensed copy of my forum because I'm a on development mode. I don't want to spend a dime if I cannot familiarized editing the mods on xenforo forum so what I did before I'll purchase a licensed on this, is to test first the software. :eek::D

You better purchase a license ASAP :)

Thanks for the info regarding this secondhand licensed. I'll jump on this later as soon as i'm done with my stuff here.;):D
