Well, Valentines Day is upon us again soon. It seems pretty relevant to have a little exploration into the topic of love and attraction, from a scientific point of view. Nothing too complicated here, just a bit of light reading and a few interesting facts to keep in mind during this romantic period!

We all know that kissing feels great. But why? Kissing has been proven to provide many health benefits, this includes the release of “bonding” hormones within the body, this intensifies the attraction and commitment that is felt between partners!

A similar hormone release is shown with hugging also. Got to love those happy hormones! It causes a release in oxytocin, this chemical can reduce blood pressure and increase the health of your heart.
