Installing ClockWorkMod Recovery for Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0/2.1
Install BusyBox on your phone.
Open the BusyBox app. If it requests for the
Superuser access, Allow/Grant it. Under the "Install
BusyBox" tab, click the "Install" button located at the
bottom of the screen.
Download the CWM recovery and put it somewhere in
your sdcard.
Download and install Recovery Tools on your phone.
Open the Recovery Tools app. If it requests for the
Superuser access, just Allow/Grant it. A popup might
appear at the first launch, just click the "I know the
risk" button.
Click the "Flash Recovery" button.
Another popup would appear, enabling you to choose the
"Flash Options", click the "Other from Storage".
Now, locate the CWM recovery ( recovery.img ) that
you've downloaded a while ago. Select that recovery.img
A "Warning!" popup should appear, just click the "Yes,
please" button. It should flash the recovery.img and it
should be finished in just a few seconds.
A popup should appear again. To check if the flashing of
the recovery is successful, click "Yes, please" in this
popup. This will reboot your device into the CWM
Recovery.
If the flashing is successful, then you will see the
CWM Recovery. And you should see the CWM-based
Recovery v6.0.2.8 in the bottom and the top of the
screen. ( NOTE: Unfortunately, the CWM Recovery is inverted.
You might find a hard time using it, but you'll get used to it.)
Use the volume buttons to navigate up and down, and
the power button to select. You might want to select
the "reboot system now " for now, as we won't install
anything yet.
NOTE: You might experience the long wait after
selecting the "reboot system now " in the CWM
recovery. This is a bug in my CWM Recovery, but
it should still reboot, it will just take 1-3 minutes ...
