Here's what you need:
- 3 Apples
- 25g + 1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 50 g flour
- 25g room temperature butter
Directions:
Slice the top off two of the apples and hollow them out using a teaspoon or melon baller. Dice a third apple and add it to the hollowed out apple bits. Stir in 1 tsp of cinnamon and 1 Tbsp. brown sugar and cook over a low/medium heat until stewed. About 5 - 10 minutes.
Cut the room temperature butter into small cubes and combine it with 50g flour and 25g brown sugar with your hands until it resembles breadcrumbs. Be careful not to over-work it.
Place the hollowed out apples onto a baking tray (it doesn’t matter if they’ve browned a bit) and fill them with the stewed apples and top with the crumble.
Bake at 180°C/375°F for 15-20 minutes.
Serve with ice cream.
