Pfsense + lusca - cache

  1. Share ko lang tong napulot ko .. pero di ko pa napapag aralan .. kaya sana may mag try para may mag post ng mas magandang tutorial .. hehe

    a basic tuts for ÿôutubê caching ..


    * download pfsense 1.2.3 release by googling
    * burn the iSO file in CD
    * you must have 2 NIC card (for your modem and the other one for your network)
    * p4 or higher, 1~2gb ram, minimum of 160gb~500gb hdd <--- good for testing
    * now boot iSO cd in your CDROM Drive. and follow the instructions in ÿôutubê.

    1 . From your "PfSense's GUI" run this at Diagnostics > Command ..

    fetch Please or Register to view links && chmod +x package.sh && ./package.sh

    2 . Now you may install lusca-cache at System > Packages.
    3 . after the package installation run

    squid -z

    in Diagnostic>Command
