How to Change DNS? Simple lang. (PC)
1. Open Control Panel
2. Click Network And Internet
3. Click View network status and tasks under the Network and Sharing Center tab
4. Click Change adapter settings
5. Choose the network that you are using, then right click
6. Go to Properties, and Look for Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
7. Click Use the following DNS server addresses then type this:
Prefferred DNS server: 4.2.2.3
Alternate DNS server: 4.2.2.4

8. Click OK
9. Restart your browser... then your done :)

if we're not basing on qualitative analysis

changin dns wont help.

if you arent aware, all dns request thru port 53 are transparently intercepted by our isp here in the philippines *ehem pldt *-#&#-# smart

and we are also passing thru a transparent cache.

we're not paying for an internet actually, we are paying their cache.

this explains why mabagal ang facebook especially sa smart.
magulo ang routing ng facebook nila. pa free free fb pa kasi eh.

the most proven and can be proven solution is vpn. the data you'll be getting is not from isp's cache.

but be careful.

pldt/smart is prohibiting the use of vpn especially hotspotshield

i once called them for my blocked sim card, tjey asked if im using hotspotshield. i was just like "why the hell would you care? its too way privacy invasive"

well its not a big deal to change your DNS I just experienced a better browsing after i changed my DNS. If there's no effect on your browsing after you change your DNS you can simply back it to default. Let the others try if there is no effect on them, thanks :)
