  1. NUTRITIONAL TIPS FOR PREGNANT WOMEN

    A pregnant woman should observe the following dietary advices:

    (1) Eat fresh foods that contains all classes of foods i.e. protein, carbohydrate, fats and oil for normal growth and development of both the mother and the yet unborn baby.

    (2) Green leafy and yellow vegetables are good and essential for healthy skin, bone and eyes.

    (3) In addition to regular meals, eat lots of vegetables and fruits to supply additional vitamins and minerals.

    4) Eat calcium containing foods for good and strong bones and teeth in babies e.g milk, fish and shrimps.

    5) Take at least 8 glasses of water per day. This will reduce constipation and get fids of wastes and toxins fom the body.

    6) Minimize salty food intakes.
