After one season with the Los Angeles Lakers, Jeremy Lin hit the NBA free agent market with some interest around the league. Although no longer considered a hot commodity, Lin would ultimately find a new home or at the very least re-sign with Los Angeles.

With Mo Williams headed back to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Hornets addressed a need in the backcourt by bringing in Lin. Although the veteran guard wasn’t all that impressive during his short stint in Los Angeles, the 26-year-old is still a talented young player and could prove to be a value piece to the puzzle for Michael Jordan’s Hornets.

In 74 games for the Lakers, Lin averaged 11.2 points, 4.6 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game. Not stellar numbers by any means for the player that once ruled New York for a short period of time, but a decent backup for Charlotte.
