TUTORIAL on how to Unblock Mobily B593u-91 (Nag auto update last Dec 2014)

INFO:
Last December 2014, nag auto update po ang Mobily sa modem na B593u-91.
All of the users na gumamit ng ibang SIM (not MOBILY) ay naapektuhan dahil sa update na ginawa nila.
Except lang po pala sa mga nag Debrand na dati pa sa Modem na to (uses Huawei Firmware already).

Para po sa mga nanghihingi po sa Firmware and Unblocking sa MOBILY B593u-91.
Eto po ang ginawa ko sa 2 modem ko.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- THIS IS NOT UNLOCKING SOLUTION. Para po ito sa unlocked na dati pa ang modem and na Blocked lang ng Hidden update ng Mobily last December 2014.
- DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. Hindi po ako responsable sa kung ano man mangyari sa router nyo while doing this.
I assure po na working ito kasi 2 units po ang nasolve ko using this procedure.

LETS START:

1. Disconnect LAN CABLE sa PC, and NO SIM CARD INSERTED.
Turn on Modem/Router normally.

2. I-press and Hold natin ang WPS + RESET + WLAN at the same time (gamit kayo ng any pointed thing para sa RESET) approx 25 seconds.


Wait until makita nyo na nag flash ng sabay2 ang LED Lights and mamamatay ulit at maiiwang continous BLINKING ang WPS LED light at dun palang bibitawan ang buttons.



Kung hindi pa din nag biblink ang WPS LED, Ulitin lang ang procedure 1 and 2 hanggang sa mag blinking alone ang WPS. (Turn off and ON ulet ang unit then hold 3 buttons again until WPS blinking alone)

3. While blinking na ang WPS, i-connect na ang modem/router sa PC via ethernet cable (LAN1 to LAN port ng PC).
Open the program B593_upgrade.

See and Follow Picture.


4. Press START button, DO NOT CLOSE THE PROGRAM....
TURN OFF and TURN ON IMMEDIATELY ang MODEM/ROUTER.
Makikita nyo na iilaw lahat ng LED LIGHTS at mamamatay ulit, iilaw ang Signal LED from 1 to 5, wait until mapuno ang 5 SIGNAL BARS.

5. After mag ilaw na lahat ng 5 signal bars. Press STOP and Close na ang Program B593_upgrade.

6. This time, Open IE or Chrome and login kayo sa 192.168.1.1 makikita nyo to... "RECOVER" button
Just Click on "RECOVER", makikita nyo na maglo-loading ang recovery. Wait until "100%"..

Then makikita nyo to..



If hindi mo maaccess ang Recover page..
Mag clear history, cøøkíés etc or mas maganda kung mag CCleaner muna kayo saka ulit pumasok sa 192.168.1.1.

7. Wait habang nag rerestart ang modem/router then if stable na ang ilaw, login ulit sa 192.168.1.1

8. You will notice na Debranded na to Huawei LTE CPE 593 ang page, hindi na Mobily. Default user: admin, password: admin




ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- Basic refresh natin is to turn off the unit for 10 seconds and ulitin ang procedure.
- If hindi po magsuccessful, ulitin lang po ang procedures.
- Kung sakaling maka encounter ng Error na "Running Instance"... proceed na po at mag login sa 192.168.1.1 at lalabas na po ang "RECOVER"

- If di pa rin po unlocked after na de-brand, Try updating to other Firmware version naka attached din po dito.
To do the system update: Login to 192.168.1.1 then goto System > Upgrade > Open/ibrowse ang Firmware na nais nyong gamitin.
Wait lang hanggang matapos at mag successful.

- idelete nyo ang ibang APN na naka save. Just create your APN based sa network Provider. Much better wag mag Auto APN.

- FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT LOGIN TO MODEM/ROUTER AFTER FW UPDATE: i-reset po muna ang modem, tusukin ang reset button for 15 seconds then try to login ulit using default password: admin

BONUS on these Firmware "SUPPORTS EXTERNAL ANTENNA" na tinanggal ng Mobily sa unang FW nila.. Gumagamit ako ng MIMO antenna purchased ko pa sa Pinas. Remote area na din kasi camp namin.


SANA NAKATULONG AKO LALO NA SA MGA NASA MIDDLE EAST/SAUDI NA APEKTADO NG UPDATE NG MOBILY.
May nag report na rin pati sa ibang bansa aside sa saudi na naapektuhan.

Requirements:
-WINDOWS XP/VISTA (Windows XP Recommended) pero try nyo din muna sa windows 7 baka gumana.
-FIRMWARE for B593u-91 (links are given above)
-B593_upgrade.exe You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.

Procedure (pasensya na wala akong Screenshots) wala akong magamit na windows XP.
1. Connect MODEM from LAN 3 or 4 to PC Ethernet Port (LAN port).
2. Double Click ang LAN icon sa Lower right corner ng Taskbar (near Clock).
Next is we have to set the IP Address Manually.

To do this (pasensya na ulit kung di ko ma accurate explain kasi matagal na di ako naka gamit ng XP)...
I hope alam nyo to, go to Local area connections (Show all Connections), makikita nyo ang Network Connections including dito ang "Local Area Connection (This is your PC LAN).
Right Click nyo ang Local Area Connection (which is LAN port) then select "Properties"
lalabas ang Internet Protocol Window (Local Area Connection Properties)
Makikita nyo sa "This Connection uses......" Select/Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) then click Properties..
Lalabas ngayon ang window ng Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)
Select nyo ang Radio button na : SELECT THE FOLLOWING IP ADD to enable ang manual na IP.

SET IP address: 192.168.1.5
SUBNET : 255.255.255.0
Default GW : leave it blank (ip add lang at subnet ang iseset mo)
Leave blank din ang DNS (obtain)

Click OK.. Now you have manual IP add.

3. Open B593_upgrade.exe
Set Network card sa Ethernet controller ng PC which includes 192.168.1.5
Policy = Modem & Router
File Path = Open your firmware to be used (.tar) - i assume you already know the format kung naka zip/rar make sure
na readable na ng B593_upgrade or else unrar/unzip file first..

4. After setting up on the B593_upgrade, DO NOT CLICK START YET!..
Instead, Disconnect LAN Cable for 10sec and Connect again. (msg "Network Cable is unplugged")
You will notice na magcoconnect ulit ang Local area Network sa lower right corner. ("....is now connected")

5. Now, Click on START BUTTON on B593_upgrade.

6. Wait lang until umilaw na lahat ng 5 signal LED Lights.

7. After this, close program, reset router and turn on normally, lets see if madedetect na ba ulit ang router, try to login sa default ip address ng router.

Make sure to remove the IP ADDRESS na ininput mo "192.168.1.5 and Subnet mask" ibalik nyo lang sa obtain.

- DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. Hindi po ako responsable sa kung ano man mangyari sa router nyo while doing this.

- Add ko na din itong UNLOCKING SOLUTION.
- Di ko pa po ito na-try pero may nakapag unlock na po gamit itong procedure.

-Sign in with Google+
IMEI = input the IMEI of your Modem/Router found at the back of the unit(15digits).
MODEL = B593u-91
-click on CALCULATE
-to view your unique code, just click on the G+1 icon...

2. then, insert Not accepted SIM, turn on router and login to router page... 192.168.1.1
go to internet settings, if it asked for code then enter the code given by the huawei code calculator (10 tries only so be sure you input the correct algo code).

or

go to 192.168.1.1/en/cardlock.asp
and input the lock code..

Again i havent tried this method, my units are already unlocked upon purchase.
You'll never know the outcome unless you try...
