  1. How To Get Rid Of Fleas

    1. Use Dish-Washing Liquid

If you want to know how to get rid of fleas quickly, go for catching and killing the monstrous fleas using a flea trap. This might be the simplest way to eliminate fleas. If you give a bath to your pet with a dishwashing liquid, you can help kill the fleas on its body too. Nevertheless, a flea trap might also help you clean up your entire house of fleas.
What you need to prepare for this solution are dish washing liquid, tea candles, dinner bowls or plates, and warm water. Then, at night, you place a bowl or plate in each room of your house, preferably in the middle of each room, on the floor.
Fill them with the warm water before adding the dishwashing liquid. Place the tea candle in the center of each plate or near the bowl. Light the candles up. The fleas will be attracted towards light. So, when they jump towards light, they will get stuck in the high viscosity of that liquid with soap. As a result, they will die. Do this routine for 3-4 nights to get your house rid of the fleas entirely.
Remember to be cautious when using this remedy at night as it might cause fire. Thus, stay awake till the candles get extinguished. In addition, do not let the children and pets get close to this trap.

    2. Herbal Flea Spray
In regard to ways on how to get rid of fleas in the house, herbal flea spray might be the quickest way you can do right now. Instead of using the flea treatments which are loaded with chemicals, you can consider using some home herbal sprays. This homemade flea spray use witch hazel or lemon juice as they are safe for both your kids and pets.
You can mix about 1 gallon of vinegar, ½ gallon of water, 16 oz. of lemon juice, 8 oz. of witch hazel together, then add them to a fresh vacuum bag. Now, you collect all the things that you could be vacuumed and wash it at the highest setting level of your washer. That way, you can kill the larvae and eggs of fleas. After that, you start vacuuming, each corner. Use the fresh vacuum bag to ensure unrestricted air flow. The debris collecting from earlier vacuuming might hamper smooth air flow. Next, take the mixture prepared before to fill into the garden sprayer and spray it. Do this every day for 2-7 days to eliminate fleas of your house. When the fleas become less noticeable, you might then repeat the above routine every 3-4 days and thereafter once per week during the flea season.

    3. Flea Combs

Flea combs are really easy-to-use, yet you need to be prepared to eliminate any live flea that gets trapped in the comb’s teeth. Begin with the head of your pet, near his ears. Check near his tail and under his arms and legs as well. Then, rapidly run the comb backwards via the fur. Before the fleas have a chance to spring loose after being stucked in that comb, you instantly dip the comb into a bowl including the solution of liquid dish soap mixed with a proper amount of plain water. That way, the trapped flea in the teeth will die in the soapy water. You had better repeat this routine as long as your dog or cat tolerates you dragging the wet comb via his fur
    4. Use Boric Acid

Boric acid can work like salt in regard to eradicating fleas. It can act as a dehydrating agent or a desiccant which might cause severe case of dehydration in fleas because of which they are killed. Just simply sprinkle boric acid put in a shaker over the places that you doubt there might be fleas.
Nevertheless, boric acid could discolor fabrics; thus, you should test it before applying this method. Also, do not forget sprinkle below the furniture. Wait for 12 to 48 hours before vacuuming the areas as well as surfaces which are treated with boric acid. Do so and after 1 month, you can wash the upholstery, carpets, and so on.

    5. Use Rosemary
This solution for how to get rid of fleas is suitable for the house with a mild case of infested fleas. Use the herb rosemary to control fleas in your home, either in the form of a powder, an oil or a rinse. While dogs could be washed with rosemary water (made by simply boiling the rosemary leaves in water), cats should not be treated with the method because of some certain reactions in them.
