How to fix Wi-Fi Network Problems for Custom ROM Enabled Galaxy S4?

Samsung-Galaxy-S4-WiFI-problems-1024x600-300x175.jpg People with Galaxy S4 operating using custom ROMs are having trouble with their Wi-Fi as the connection shuts off during sleep or idle mode. 4 fixes specific to different cases are given below.
#1 Fix for the Wi-Fi Auto Shut Off Problem

For users operating Jelly Bean AOKP custom ROM on Galaxy S4, performing the following steps should solve the problem. Dial *#0011# > Press Menu key> Wi-Fi> Uncheck Wi-Fi Power Saving (Green light appears if enabled)> Home screen The Wi-Fi driver will be rebooted.

If your Wi-FI is giving connection problems then we do not suggest you to do above part, instead Disable Power Saving Mode. Click here how to.

#2 Fix for the Wi-Fi Auto Shut Off Problem

Users operating stock ROM on Galaxy S4 (device which have never been rebooted before) should follow these steps. Menu button> Settings> Wi-Fi> Menu button (again)> Advanced> “Keep Wi-Fi On During Sleep”> Move radio button to “Always” The Wi-Fi won’t turn off while Sleep mode or idle mode.

#3 Fix for the Wi-Fi Auto Shut Off Problem

Users receiving intermittent signals can apply the following solution. Menu key> Settings> Wireless and Network> More Settings> Scroll down to Network> Mobile Networks> Tap Connections Optimizer settings to check

Wi-Fi auto connect will be available within a registered network.
