NGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 lb tilapia fillet, cut into 1-inch piece
  • 1 1/2 limes
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 3 tbsp cooking coil
  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 6 inch flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 3/4 cup shredded cabbage



HOW TO PREPARE FISH TACOS:

  • Juice 2 of the limes into a bowl.
  • Stir mayonnaise and chili powder into juice.
  • Transfer half of the sauce to another bowl; toss fish in it.
  • Set aside remaining sauce.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • In a shallow dish combine flour and salt.
  • Toss fish in flour mixture.
  • Fry the breaded fish for about 3 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
  • Drain fish on paper towels.
  • Warm the tortillas in paper towels by heating in microwave for 30 secs.
  • Top tortillas with fish, cabbage and carrots.
  • Drizzle with remaining lime sauce.
  • Enjoy your fish tacos!
