Access other computers or allow another user to access your computer securely over the Internet.

Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.

Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows (XP and above) and Mac (OS X 10.6 and above) desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

    Step by step instructions:
    1. Click this link Please or Register to view links
    2. Then click "Add to Chrome."
    3. Then just click "Add app" in the next popup window to confirm you do, indeed, want to add the app.
    4. Then, a new Chrome tab will open showing you all your Google apps, including Chrome Remote Desktop. Click it.

    5. After that, click the bottom "Get Started" button under the "My Computers" box.
    6. You might have enable remote connections on your computer, in which case you need to press the "Enable remote connections" button and follow the instructions.
    7. Then, you need to set up a pin so that no one else can pick up your phone and control your computer.
    8. Now, install the Chrome Remote Desktop app for your Android or iOS device.
    9. Open the app and sign in with the Google account you use to sync with Chrome.
    10. Choose the computer you want to control, then type in the pin you created earlier.
    11. Voila! You're all set!
