  • Pancakes are no longer boring.

Here are a few awesome pancake häçks that your kids will love.

All you need is a few, simple ingredients to get started:

  • Nutella Pancake Kabobs
(Inspired by this recipe from You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now..)

These yummy, fruity Nutella pancake kabobs are perfect for breakfast and also make great appetizers.

Once all of the ingredients are prepared, have your kids help put them together.

    Ingredients:
    • 1 box pancake mix
    • Strawberries
    • Bananas
    • 1 small jar of Nutella
    • Wooden skewers
    Directions:
    1. Prepare the pancake batter according to package directions.
    2. Heat up your griddle.
    3. Pour batter into 1-2 inch circles on the griddle and cook until golden brown.
    4. Cut the strawberries into thirds. Slice the bananas.
    5. Spread the Nutella on the mini pancakes.
    6. Prepare the skewers by putting on a pancake first, then a strawberry and then a banana. Repeat twice.
When they are done they should look like this:

  • Bacon Pancake Dippers
What is more beautiful than bacon and pancakes?

These dippers are easy to make, and they taste amazing.

    Ingredients:
    • 1 package bacon
    • 1 box pancake mix
    • Syrup (for dipping)
    Directions:
    1. Cook the bacon in the oven according to package directions.
    2. Prepare the pancake batter according to package directions.
    3. Pour the pancake batter into a gallon sized ziplock back. Cut a small hole on one of the corners of the bag, so that you can squeeze the batter out.
    4. Heat up your griddle.
    5. Create an oval shaped pancake on the griddle. Place a cooked piece of bacon on the center, then top with more pancake batter.
    6. Cook each dipper until golden brown.
    7. Eat with maple syrup.
To make sure your dippers aren't greasy, I suggest cooking the bacon in the oven until it is crispy.

When you combine the pancakes and the bacon, be careful not to use too much batter (it comes out quickly). You're going to want to make them look like this on the griddle:

  • Muffin Pancake Bites
Prep a week's worth of breakfasts in one day by making these yummy pancake bites. You can save your leftovers in the fridge and eat them whenever you feel like a snack.

When you are pouring the batter into the muffin tin, make sure not to fill them too full, or they will overflow when baking. I chose to use a mini muffin tin, but you can make them full-sized as well. (They will need to cook longer.)

    Ingredients:
    • 1 box pancake mix
    • Blueberries
    • Mini chocolate chips
    Directions:
    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
    2. Prepare the pancake batter according to package directions.
    3. Spray a muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
    4. Pour pancake batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
    5. Top half with blueberries and the other half with mini chocolate chips.
    6. Cook for about 8-9 minutes.
    7. Eat with maple syrup.
