    Using a Glycemic Index Food List to Decrease High Blood Sugar Symptoms



    GI-glycemic index is a number ranking of carbohydrate in particular type of food and indicates how they affect a person’s blood glucose levels. Its scale is from 0 to 100. The higher the GI in a particular food, it means that rapidly increases in blood sugar. Scale of 100 means pure glucose. Food with low GI value (less than 55) is more slowly digested and metabolized than food with high GI value and it slower rise in blood sugar, therefore and insulin levels. One of many benefits of low GI food is very good in weight control.

    In order to prevent high blood sugar level, or control over weight, or improve overall health, you should consume food with low GI.

    Try to minimize consuming high glycemic index food or completely eliminate them.

    thanks for the info ts, need talaga to avoid those drinks and foods that can affect high blood sugar. pero kailangan rin talaga ng galaw galaw mode, mag exercise rin pag may time. :)
